At Master Bolt, we manufacture custom and standard fasteners of all shapes and sizes. We have many growing capabilities that allow us to provide our customers with the best quality bolts they need for their applications.
One bolt that we always have in production is the plow bolt. The plow bolt gets its name from snowplows, which use these special bolts to keep our streets safe.
Plow bolts have flat heads, which make them great for large machinery applications such as the snowplow, tractors, and more.
In the video, you can see the three different plow bolts.
The bolt on the left is called a Number 3 Plow Bolt, which has a flat round head with a square neck. This bolt is used for tractors and other heavy equipment.
The middle bolt is called a Number 7 Plow Bolt. This bolt has a reverse key on top of its head. When it goes into an application, the bolt turns and locks.
The bolt on the right is a Number 4 Plow Bolt, and it is our most popular plow bolt that we manufacture. The Number 4 Plow Bolt has a flat square head and is the bolt used in snowplows.
We can manufacture all of our plow bolts from a half-inch to two inches in diameter. The more popular sizes are 5/8ths to one inch.
